Team Sheeper Personal Coaching

After two decades of providing great group workouts to our athletes, Team Sheeper is now providing personal coaching to multi-sport athletes (triathletes, adventure racers), runners, and cyclists. This training option will extend our Sheeper training philosophy to athletes that may either not have access to our group workouts or to local athletes that have different race goals than our team.  Our very own Mimi Winsberg will be using her experience as a physician and psychiatrist, as well as an athlete, to put together personalized training programs for athletes.

Our Coaching Philosophy

The "backbone/core" of our personal training program will be the same core that our Team has adhered to for the past two decades with much success.
A personal goal and a workout schedule is just the beginning of a training program.
  • Understanding the life schedule of each athlete
  • Monitoring progress
  • Making continuous improvement to the workout program
  • Using our coaching and racing experience
  • Group workouts (Bay Area athletes)

Personal Philosophy
mimi My training and experience as a physician and psychiatrist, as well as an athlete, allow me to understand athletes and performance on the level of physiology and psychology. Both are key to creating a successful training plan and to successful race execution. I have a passion for people, exercise, and learning. I've been lucky to have wonderful mentors and I continue to enjoy learning about the sport. I believe that even lofty goals can be achieved with guidance and dedication to a basic routine. By understanding people's goals, strengths and limitations, I can provide them with the tools to take their performance and enjoyment of the sport to the next level.
